Baby Name Quest is a free online game that helps parents-to-be find a baby name they both love. Instead of scrolling an endless alphabetical list, you play short, head-to-head duels between names matched to your taste and your culture. The winner of the whole quest is a single name, complete with its meaning, origin and pronunciation.

How the game works

• Pick who you're naming — a boy or a girl. The name pool changes to match.
• Answer a few quick questions about the origin and feeling you want the name to carry.
• Play the duels. Two names at a time — choose the one you prefer. Reject a name and tell us why, and the game brings better matches next round.
• Meet your winner — one favourite name, with its meaning, origin, pronunciation, and (for US names) the state where it's most loved.

Names from around the world

The game draws on about 2,300 names covering both boys and girls, gathered from 13 countries — the United States and a wide span of Europe. Every name is enriched with its meaning, origin and pronunciation, so you always know the story behind the name you're choosing.

Choose a name together, from anywhere

Naming a child is a two-person decision. With co-op mode, both partners each play their own rounds — even from opposite sides of the world — and the game merges your two shortlists into the names you both loved. Pop in an email and we'll notify you the moment your partner finishes their picks.

Keepsakes & sharing

When you find the one, you can share a printable keepsake card or download a PDF of your quest — a small memento of the moment you chose your child's name.

Is it free?

Yes. Playing the game and finding a name is completely free. An optional Pro upgrade adds the printable keepsake, extra name packs, and an ad-free experience.
